Separation of Antiretrovirals
Jun 22 2021
Antiretrovirals have come back to the forefront of separations science at this moment in time, as they have found use in the fight against SARS-CoV-2. Traditionally used for the treatment of HIVS/AIDS we have provided two application notes for the separation of Ritonavir and Lopinavir and also for the corticosteroid Dexamethasone which has also shown to be effective in lowering the risk of mortality.
Both of these application notes highlight how the use of simple mobile phase conditions can be utilised with a SpeedCore core-shell particle LC column in order to separate quickly and efficiently the mentioned compounds.
Fast efficient LC separations are critical to ensure purity of drugs to market. Especially in the case of the drugs on the World Health Organisations (WHO) list of essential medicines which need to be abundantly available at highly cost-effective prices to assure supply is readily available to all nations.
To receive a copy of these application notes or for any other application or HPLC column related questions, please send an email to our tech support.
