Biocompatible valves for life science instrumentation

Biotech Fluidics offers a range of precision-engineered liquid distribution valves designed to streamline instrument design and deliver long-term, maintenance-free operation. Fully biocompatible and made with advanced polymer sealing surfaces, these rotary valves are an efficient alternative to conventional solenoid valve arrays.

A single Biotech Fluidics valve can replace up to 24 solenoids - minimising footprint, reducing system complexity and cost, and helping eliminate issues such as reagent carryover. Their low internal volume also makes them ideal for sensitive fluid handling, including segmented flow applications and the use of magnetic beads.

Engineered for versatility, the valves operate from vacuum to 2.76 bar and are available in both standard and custom configurations. Each unit is durability-tested for robust performance and controlled by closed-loop logic via RS232, I2C or UART, with position tracking built in.

For tailored applications, Biotech Fluidics offers collaborative design services supported by CFD simulation to optimise reagent use, performance, and component lifespan.

With precise gear-driven actuation and a rugged, compact design, these biocompatible valves offer reliable, long-term liquid control - ideal for analytical, diagnostic, and life science instruments.
