    Rapid Direct TLC-MS Interface

Omicron Research Limited brings you the new TLC-MS Interface, the latest innovation from CAMAG. This state-of-the-art instrument aids analysis of unknown compounds from a TLC/HPTLC plate by introducing the sample into your existing mass spectrometer for substance identification or structure elucidation.

The revolutionary TLC-MS Interface is the solution to an ongoing analysis issue, where traditional TLC/HPTLC methods are unable to identify unknown substances. In the past, these substances were scraped off the TLC/HPTLC plate, eluted into a tube and transferred manually into theMS. The TLCMS solves this problem by semi-automatic extraction of zones of interest directed online into most types ofMS system, the TLC-MS can be coupled with all types of LC-MS includingWaters Aquity based systems.

The TLC-MS has automatic piston movement and force control giving maximum reliability with precise positioning, whilst the interface has been proven to be one of the most dependable and versatile interfaces for TLC/HPTLC-MS coupling. TLC-plates or aluminium foils up to 20 x 20 cm can be positioned accurately and analysed zone by zone, giving reproducible results and detectability similar to HPLC-MS.
