Redefining your expectations for GC/MS,

Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a range of high quality GC Columns that offer a leap forward in column performance that is required for today’s challenging compound analysis. TraceGOLD GC columns deliver all of the features you would expect from a GC column:

  • Ultra low bleed – Leading to greater sensitivity, essential for GC/MS applications, while providing extended column lifetime. A low bleed, stable column produces consistent results, and the low baseline noise enables improved limits of detection with enhanced resolution of low level analytes.
  • High levels of reproducibility – Both run-to-run and column-to-column reproducibility. Expect every column to provide the same high levels of performance as the previous one. Failure to obtain the same high levels of performance for the same type of column can result in methods having to be revalidated and potential doubt being cast on the original data generated.
  • Superior inertness – Offering highly inert columns ensuring excellent peak shape and sensitivity, especially for highly active or difficult compounds. Treatment of the analytical column by the bonding of basic functional groups onto the column surface reduces the effects of tailing and improves run-to-run reproducibility and sensitivity.

TraceGOLD GC Columns are available in a range of formats to meet differing analytical requirements:

TraceGOLD GC Capillary columns are available in a wide range of phases to meet the needs of most analytical challenges. From TG-1MS and TG-5MS columns for low polar compounds to TG-WaxMS and TG-POLAR columns for polar compounds, you will find a column to suit your needs. For specific compounds, a range of application-specific columns is offered for guaranteed separation and resolution.

TraceGOLD Metal GC columns are designed to withstand higher temperatures and give extended column lifetime. Your analysis is critical, so the tools that you choose are critical. TraceGOLD Metal GC columns can be taken to elevated temperatures and are designed to give superior stability. This makes them ideal for applications such as ASTM methods in the petrochemical market, where using an elevated temperature enables the separation of complex mixtures

TraceGOLD GC Columns with SafeGuard feature an integrated guard column. Guard columns are typically used to extend the lifetime of the analytical column. During routine maintenance of a GC system, a section of the front end of the column is cut off. This shortens the column and eventually impacts the chromatographic performance. Using a TraceGOLD GC column with SafeGuard means that you can cut your column with no impact on performance.

Take a leap forward with your GC column and redefine your expectations through TraceGOLD
