ACE SuperC18 and SuperPhenylHexyl Extended pH LC Columns
Jun 25 2014
ACE SuperC18 and SuperPhenylHexyl UHPLC/HPLC columns offer excellent stability across an extended pH range, allowing chromatographers to routinely exploit beneficial selectivity changes at low, intermediate and high pH. These columns are designed for use with LC/MS compatible buffers and offer ultra-low bleed for improved LC/MS compatibility. They can be used with MeOH and MeCN mobile phases and offer rapid column equilibration without memory effects. ACE SuperC18 columns offer excellent stability up to pH 11.0/11.5 and ACE SuperPhenylHexyl columns offer excellent stability up to pH 11.0.
ACE ‘Super’ columns feature proprietary 'Encapsulated Bonding Technology' which dramatically increases the ligand coverage of the silica surface and effectively eliminates the effect of unbonded silanol groups from separations. This higher ligand coverage results in improved inertness, chromatographic performance and stability.
ACE SuperC18 columns are available with fully porous 2, 3, 5 and 10um particles and additionally with ACE UltraCore solid-core 2.5 and 5um particles. ACE SuperPhenylHexyl columns are available with ACE UltraCore solid-core 2.5 and 5µm particles.
ACE UltraCore particles are ultra-inert solid-core (superficially porous) particles for UHPLC and HPLC. The monodisperse particle distribution of these phases combines high efficiency and performance, with a low column back pressure.
ACE ‘Super’ fully porous or solid-core columns are ideal choices for method development, offering improved inertness, chromatographic performance and column lifetime.
