ACD/Labs and Nanalysis Announce Collaboration to Provide ACD/Labs Software with Benchtop Spectrometers
Mar 16 2020
ACD/Labs and Nanalysis Scientific Corp are pleased to announce that they have entered into a collaborative arrangement that will supply Nanalysis 60 and 100 MHz benchtop NMR spectrometer purchasers with ACD/Spectrus Processor software for data processing and analysis. The announcement was made at the 61st Experimental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Conference (ENC) that brings spectroscopists from all over the world together to discuss innovations and applications of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nanalysis will bundle a one-year subscription of ACD/Spectrus Processor at no cost to academics, and for an incremental fee to industry. ACD/Labs' industry-standard software that predicts spectra from structure (ACD/Labs NMR Predictors) and popular advanced processing, interpretation, and databasing application (ACD/NMR Workbook Suite) will also be available to Nanalysis customers.
Dr Susanne Riegel, Director of Marketing and Product Manager said: “ACD/Labs' powerful NMR processing and analysis software packages are the perfect accompaniment to our compact NMR devices. Working with ACD/Labs for manual or automated spectral analysis, to predict NMR spectra, to confirm structural assignments and build databases give our customers intuitive, powerful and flexible tools to simplify their analytic needs."
"We're very excited to work with Nanalysis and bring our tools to benchtop NMR users," Dimitris Argyropoulos, NMR Business Manager at ACD/Labs, commented. "Benchtop instruments have made NMR spectroscopy more accessible to chemists all over the world. The ability to use ACD/Labs software to process and analyse their data will empower chemists with state-of-art tools that also enable them to store and manage their data effectively and produce publication-ready graphics and reports. Furthermore, ACD/Labs' software offers the capability for chemists to process and analyse LC/MS, UV/Vis IR, and all other analytical data using the same software, regardless of data format."
